Custom ringtone addition is a huge change. Very happy to see that. Emoji game should not have been restricted to regions where News+ is available. No reason to see it being tied to News+

The 30s limit exists if you use GarageBand. If you import m4r files via Finder/iTunes though, you're allowed to use up to 40s clips. They'll only appear in the ringtone list, not in the notification sound list. I've got a few 40s ringtones myself.

Also, for it to make sense, Apple should also allow custom notification sounds for 3rd-party apps; i.e. not relying on the measly sound selection of the app itself (looking at you, WhatsApp), and not only having an on/off toggle for Sounds in the apps' central notification settings. Or do we have to wait for that for another 18 years..?

Then if you you ask Siri to add burger buns to the shopping list it adds burger and buns. I feel sorry for Steve.

Digital ID would be amazing...if the TSA actually supported it with any certainty.

TSA agents don't even agree if a passport card is accepted as Real ID.

Ohhhh, I like that "Select in Messages" feature! But wish it didn't require a contextual menu item. If you double-tap, it should start the selection mode on the word tapped on. That would fit in nicely with existing gestures.

Well if that's the case I can only imagine the pain in the ass it would be to have to arrange licencing agreements with every country the iPhone is sold.

I've noticed the medications part of health is much improved, with much easier changing of options of when medications are used and more compressive options.

Nice list! I’m especially glad Apple finally made it easier to set custom ringtones without GarageBand. The new message text selection is super handy too. Can’t wait to try the satellite weather once it goes live. These small updates really add up.

Clearly we're failing at training our TSA agents. I did hear a few stories where they weren't accepting enhanced driver's licenses (basically Real ID + citizenship) even though their website explicitly says those are approved. Often I think they're just making up rules on the fly.
