they really need to have some sort of "user will be right back" voice coming from the iphone. every time i have used this feature the person on the other end hangs up no matter how fast i go back to the call.
Your passionate input is appreciated. After reading all of this, I can definitely move forward & live the rest of my life a much better person than I thought I was before your post. And just how would you do this? You are aware that many companies already do this and it has nothing to do with Apple. This "suggestion" is useless given the subject of this thread.
Really? Are you saying that using the phone for this feature "burns" the battery as opposed to every other thing you use a phone for? Is this why iPhone batteries have to be charged periodically? Interestingly, I had a two hour phone call the other day, and the battery percentage dropped. OMG. I'll show them and stop making phone calls.
OMG. How is one supposed to know, when calling an unfamiliar company, whether it's going to work like I'd like it to? I have no freaking clue as to how most phone systems are going to work when I call them. Every one is different. Your perfect world scenario doesn't make sense.OMG. It's not going to work in every situation. Here's an idea. For situations where it doesn't work as you'd like it to, then just don't use it for that call. Or, help Apple refine the feature by giving Apple some realistic suggestions instead of what has become the MO here, ie bitchin' and moaning and complaining about almost everything.
Maybe Zamunda can team up with Wakanda to get new tech faster?NOT available everywhere outside the US. For EU people: interesting iOS 26 features like Call Screening and Hold Assist are only available in a select few countries.
Why would usability matter when the feature’s liquid glass UI is so gorgeous? 😊That’s precisely why the feature is unusable. I strongly recommend everyone avoid using it, it’s extremely frustrating...
Good technology is designed around how humans work, it shouldn't expect humans to adapt to it. I'm not even sure what unreasonable or eccentric 'phone habits' you're suggesting I have.Sounds like the failures you describe are on you and your phone habits. Don't blame Apple for them.
