Definitely I will not be using this. Always prefer the highest quality possible. Of course it is beneficial if recipient is having poor connectivity. But I am sure I will be keeping this off.
There’s one particular group chat with a friend on an unreliable/old Android. Every couple of weeks, I can’t send an image through RCS because their phone is acting up. I have to switch to MMS. This would probably solve that problem.
I won’t leave the toggle on all the time, but I’ll try it next time there’s an issue.
