I’d say a holiday break does not equate to laziness, and historically post-thanksgiving they’ve released as late as the thursday. i think comments posted in this thread should be useful rather than inane.
1 - this cycle they've been releasing software 3 hours later than usual. People need to learn to either be patient or kill time doing something.
2 - 26.1 did not have an RC, so i doubt we might see it for 26.2 too.

Apple seems to prefer late releases this cycle, so if they have something today, it could happen at any time in the next few hours.

It's not popular. It's accurate. I had to correct Gemini twice for a single query in thinking mode earlier and it's been my experience often with these apps.
The answers also depend on how the question's been asked. These are language models which means the responses depend a lot on the language used.

Although unlikely (and probably mentioned before) I feel like we are going straight to RC rather than B4. Timing has been different this year. We are later than normal in the cycle. B4 this week means public release the week of the 15th. Seems late.
Apparently they are still recovering from all the turkey and pumpkin pie they ate last Thursday. 😂
