They sure do take their time not fixing any bugs…
The truth is that none of the 26.3 betas have fixed the errors reported in 26.2. As for error resolution, Apple has been very lazy lately, let's hope that in beta 3 or RC of 26.3 we will have good news in this regard, because 26.4 will come with many changes and a base that is as solid as possible would not hurt to start the path in the best possible conditions.

That’s not how it’s working . 26.4 has probably existed for months already. Maybe even before 26.0 went public. Fixes and changes in the meantime is merged into 26.4.

iOS 26.2 - Release date: Dec 12th - 41 days ago

iOS 26.2.1 - seen in logs, but unknown if it will be released.

iOS 26.3 beta 1 - Release date: Dec 15th - 38 days ago

iOS 26.3 beta 2 - Release date: Jan 12th - 10 days ago

I understand the holidays impacted some of this, but it really feels like this cycle has been out of sync. Maybe Apple had this plan all along, but this seems like a large period of time for what has been released in the last 41 days. Especially when other items like AirPods and Magic Keyboards received public updates.

The powerbank also got it‘s update :)
I wouldn’t worry. Sure it’s a bit boring for us currently in this situation but I guess they’re really working hard on all that Siri/Gemini stuff to get this ready.
26.3 isn’t really an important update. B2 runs pretty fine on my 17 Pro but no noticeable changes. Battery might be a bit better compared to 26.2.
Wouldn’t be worried here. We'll get new updates but probably not this week.

That they have been working on a smarter Siri is not debatable, but 26.4 I'm almost sure that it came into the picture when they signed the deal with Google. and I think that happened at some point in the 26.2 beta cycle, hence the atypical releases. I think that from that moment on, 80% of the development team is focused on 26.4, leaving fewer people working for the current version and hence these delays in the schedule or even a skipped week in the beta cycle of 26.2, which we can see in 26.3 as well.

There was talks about a google deal all the way back in august, and in November the final deal was leaked. They have been working on this probably since august/September for testing purposes
