Same here, but it's happening in most of my frequently used apps. With X and Instagram being the worst offenders. Sometimes the stuttering and jittery makes the phone almost unusable. And this is on a 16PM.... it's been really bad for me since beta 1

I’m on a 14PM. Instagram is mainly okay for me, though Facebook can be quite bad. With Safari, it seems to have gotten worse in the last few days, with Google search results being horrifically bad. I did upgrade my ad blocker, Wipr, to version 2 so I’m wondering if that’s the culprit for Safari.

Re things getting worse over time - Rebooting every few days has helped me with iOS 26 Beta 4.

Good idea, though at T-2 until (hopefully) beta 5 I’m going we’ll all be saved from the stutterfest.

I’m all in for today.
So far there are zero traces that any UP 3.0 functionality is included in 26 betas. It‘s already too late for 3.0 to hit with 26 in a month. They will probably release support for the new features with a point release at the end of the year or first half of 2026, depending on how quick Google is to push out full 3.0 support on their end.

So I did get through to Tim yesterday and he apologised for missing yesterday's release as he was busy massaging supply chains. He's now scheduled it in for today so he doesn't forget.

Seeing as 3.1 was just released in July, I would hope they would use that if they are waiting until later this year/early next year.
I don‘t think Apple will ever be on the bleeding edge of UP. They committed publicly that they‘ll add e2ee, which means we can expect 3.0 at the bare minimum in the future.
3.1 doesn‘t really add any new user facing features, it‘s mainly geared towards reliability/ stability… which sounds great, don‘t think it happens on iOS though.

For me, Safari is fine. The stutter usually happens when switching pages is the Home Screen, or opening/minimizing apps. And it’s usually only the initial animation. If you repeat the action, it’s super smooth as it should be.
