iOS 26 to Upgrade CarPlay in Two Ways

I want to be able to set the dock on the left and not have it change. I always want Messages there and never want Phone there. That way you can see if you have any messages when you're in Maps or another app.

Like get rid of calendar as being a default?! Who wants that?

You can go to General —> Settings —> CarPlay and choose which apps appear, and their order. So you can make Calendar vanish if you want.

So… besides trying to focus on driving while a baby is crying in the back seat

So now besides trying to focus on driving with a crying baby strapped in the back seat…. CarPlay is going to add to the frustration by telling you what you already know. Lovely

People will complain about anything I guess.
