How the heck does that happen between betas 2 and 3?
Pretty sure that déjà vue all over again.!
I've always assumed with the banking apps it's cryptography-related. keys being changed, incorrect keys on a beta. The notifications come through because the app itself is working, it's just can't authorise either your login or the app install itself.

All assumptions though.

Yes, but it's unclear whether it's a beta issue or Marco's most recent update. He's been pinged on Mastodon and sees high iOS 26 use already, so he's probably working on it.
My gut is it's his app - and sadly, he doesn't communicate anymore when there are issues. Hopefully it is being fixed.

Barclays UK app has just been updated in Apple store, fixed and working fine!
I saw this, opened the app - and yay! It’s working.

But I haven’t updated!

Update downloading now - so I wonder if it was something server side that was triggering the warning.

I got a Barclays update (prompted by Apple email to test it) and it works. I assumed it was the update but difficult to tell, I should have tested before and after, too late now.

I updated and it still didn’t work, today when I checked it had started working so the issue must have been server side.
