iOS 26 - Working and Non-working apps thread

If you’re having trouble loading or crashing at launch, it might not be fixed just by restarting or uninstalling/reinstalling the app.

This has caused some issues, like not being able to pull up my VIP code or mobile ordering from the app. So, I found a workaround since customer service keeps sending me password reset requests. I can use their website instead.

The 85 Degrees website is a temporary fix while the app continues to have major issues in this beta. When prompted to log in, use the same credentials you use for Sweet Rewards on the app. And guess what? The monthly and VIP coupons + point rewards will show up! It works on iOS 26 on website.

Update: after I left feedback the developers of the app had reworked the UI in an update and the app works again on iOS 26 beta 8.

Moved it to the working apps list.
 
I have an issue with an app called FitSense. I need it to enter the gym I go to, it generates a unique QR code for 15 seconds which I scan for entry.

No matter how many times I regenerate QR codes or try scanning, it fails to allow me to enter.

The company behind the app is called ClubWise

Is anyone else having issues with "X" on iOS 26?
For me, it takes a really long time to load new tweets — if I haven’t used it for a while and then reopen it, it can take up to a minute to refresh…

Same for me…. Not sure if it’s beta related or an X thing.

It opens, goes black, comes back and does Face ID then it goes slowly to accounts and it does work just painfully slow.Teller at my branch said it will most likely be updated by the time the official version is released. Web page works fine on Mac os26 so really all we've lost at the moment is speed and the convenience of mobile deposit which I did try on iPhone but it was really slow between front and back of the check. Running public beta 5

Spoken to their developer more than once over a number of years. They consistently refuse to concern themselves with their app working or not with beta versions due to “security concerns“. Said he doesn’t care what other financial institutions do. Sometimes it works correctly with new versions and sometimes it doesn’t, either not working at all or with issues as this time.

This is the first time I've jumped on the beta with the phone this early mainly because of this app and WF and Barclay and I was kinda surprised to see it wasn't working quite right this time as the others were fine. Usually I just do the early public betas with my iPad and MacBook Air.

Same with the public beta 6. I hope NC SECU fixes this app soon.

Doesn’t seem to be working since iOS26 B9 for me. Just endlessly spinning on initial loading screen even after reboot/reinstall. Anyone else seeing?
 
Looks like the iPad Mail app has the Select option back in the Trash and Junk (and other) folders. Huzzah!
 
Medibank app (Live Better rewards not working)

Update (17/09/2025): they fixed it. Update the Medibank app & Live Better rewards now sync’s with Apple Health on iOS 26.

Temporary solution that worked for me (requires a FitBit account):

1. Delete Medibank app
2. Reinstall Medibank app
3. Open Live Better rewards tab
4. Connect FitBit (do not connect Apple Health as that’s what causes it to hang)
5. Manually complete two of the daily tasks every day (this sucks but better than no access at all).

Hopefully Medibank can fix their app soon to be able to sync with Apple Health running on iOS 26.

Medibank (Australian medical insurance provider) seems to be having problems syncing with Apple Health. I can't get to the "Live Better" tab (provides points for fitness activity) unless I delete and reinstall the app, and even then it only works that first time - and doesn't sync any data.

one of my apps no longer has dark icon after upgrading to ios 26
probably will be awhile before they release an update that fixes this 🙄
 
There's ben an ongoing issue I've seen some devs reporting of Mac App Store app updates not actually showing up in the App Store. Other folks complaining about very long review times. One developer I saw this morning apologizing online because they've got their iOS and iPadOS apps ready to release, but Apple's dragging their feet reviewing the MAS version. Who knows..
