Wait....WHAT? FaceTime calls can be censored live? Has this been a thing for a while or is this something they are sneaking in? Not that I particularly want to see gore or nudity, but doesn't this fly in the face of Apple's privacy focus if something is actively monitoring and censoring calls?

Nudity screening has been around for some years I’d say, but I guess someone can correct me.

How do we know what the new features will really be when iPhoneOS 27 isn’t out yet? And how are we getting 27 when it’s only 2026?

Beta has been out for a while now, and they call it ios 27 because you will have the software for more of 2027 than 2026.

While streaming video with Dual Capture is limited to the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone Air, and newer, anyone running iOS 27 can see a dual video stream on a FaceTime call because there are no hardware requirements for the receiving device.

Yea, because there are hardware requirements for the sending device, right. How DUBL had this working for years now, we'll never know.

I don't use it with my apple tv, but use it pretty frequently with my mac without issues. This is was using a 15 pro and now iphone air. What problem are you experiencing?
