I can replicate this as well, and it does it for any app. For me, it puts the icon on an existing home screen with space.Umm… long pressing on the Safari app in the App Library creates a new Safari app on a fresh home page… and continues to happen every time you long press.
EDIT — wow this happens with multiple apps. Simply long pressing apps like Safari, Music, Mail, Messages, etc add those apps to a new homepage

Public beta and developer betas are almost always *exactly* the same. Usually the first PB is the only one that might slightly different. Waiting for the next PB just means delaying getting all the updates/fixes as soon as they are released.I'm on iOS Public Beta channel. In US, mountain region. Auto updates Off. Still displaying iOS 27 as "up to date". If I change to Developer updates, I do see today's beta 5.
Question: Is there a method to force a recognition of the Public Beta 2, available to others but not me, yet. Restarted, etc. Checked network. Toggled on/off Airplane mode, etc.
I can just change to Developer beta and get (likely) the same build. I just prefer to stay on Public.
So no big deal, I just have downtime this PM to update and let it do its re-indexing.
Just get dev and afterwards switch the DEV switch off and PB switch on. The builds ae exactly the same. Just about WHEN you get them. So that will put you back on PB channel.I'm on iOS Public Beta channel. In US, mountain region. Auto updates Off. Still displaying iOS 27 as "up to date". Sort of. The Easter egg has been there in iPadOS since last year, but it only made it to iOS this year.Have you always had a movable monocular in the preview app? I just found it. I never opened the app directly, just as “open in“
We’ve been able to do this since iOS 15.Umm… long pressing on the Safari app in the App Library creates a new Safari app on a fresh home page… and continues to happen every time you long press.

Thank you for replying.I’m not familiar with the Home Assistant app. I see it listed on the working/not-working thread wiki page, but maybe there is a nuance to how you’re using it that isn’t working/compatible with iOS 27 yet? Perhaps someone is that thread can try to match what you’re doing and troubleshoot.

Well, yeah… but it’s not supposed to happen after simply long pressing an app in the App Library. This is clearly a bug. We’ve been able to do this since iOS 15.

How to Add the Same App to Multiple Home Screens on Your iPhone
In iOS 15, you can put multiple copies of the same app on your iPhone's Home Screen. On the surface, this may seem like a strange thing to allow, and perhaps even a bug, but Apple has intentionally made it possible to have additional copies of an app across several Home Screen pages so that the...www.macrumors.com
It must’ve been early on in 26 because I don’t remember safari ever having the infamous blur at the top. A lot of other apps did like settings though. It did that in iOS 26, they brought it back for whatever reason.
