Yep, that Spotlight search window has settled itself somehow without any reboots after the installation.

I assume that's what it's doing, not a whole re-index. If it's the same as beta 7, it should be done by tomorrow afternoon.

Or, if it is redoing everything, it could be a beta thing that won't happen during general release.

My first beta was beta 7. It took approximately 24 hours (full index). But from reading each beta thread for iOS 27 I get the impression it will do a full index as I think most people said it takes a day or more with each beta. With my idea of only doing a delta index, it should be a matter of minutes to a few hours at most with each update.

Running great on my Air, the only change I notice is that settings now shows Optimizing Search and Siri, it had gone away before on earlier beta

It will be coming on with every new iOS 27 update, apparently, but, as before, it should go away within 24 hours after the installation.

That’s why I update my iPhone by removing the case and the glass back, and surrounding it with ice cubes, just like the TikTok experts do.

Update it inside the refrigerator is also a good idea. I think they sell usb ports for refrigerators on Amazon

No issues with mine but I updated from 26.6.1 to 27.0b7. No harm in deleting the existing backup on iCloud and manually do another one. I've had to do this in the past.

No battery drain issues in last 4 hrs of usage. No Wifi icon cosmetic bug. While a lot smoother than iOS 26, the phone does stutter at random places throughout the iOS 27 beta cycle (I started from B5 or B6).

Simply opening the Find My app is enough to reproduce the issue. The right side of the screen does not respond to touch input, and the map cannot be moved or interacted with in that area. The affected region is approximately 0.5–1.5 cm from the right edge of the display.

Can anyone else reproduce this issue?

Yes same here. It’s the vertical space below the icons running the whole length of the screen as you’ve shown in your screenshot.
