While it is tempting to install the beta, don't think I will do it. Eagerly waiting to try out the new features.
I have 27 on three iPads: a Gen 9, an Air, and a Mini. No dealbreakers. I like choosing less transparent LG and the rain option in Weather. Just got Siri from the waitlist yesterday, and haven’t played with it much. It truly is like Snow Leopard—refinements not overhauls.

I hope before the final, they put it back the way it was on ios 26, where, if you have liquid glass set to ‘more tinted’, that fullscreen shadow doesn’t crawl up with the notifications on lockscreen when you swipe up. I hate how that looks. Since 27 dev beta 1, the shadow is enabled, regardless of where the liquid glass slider is. The point of having the transparency option, is for readability and we don’t need the dark shadow under the notifications, when it’s set to Tinted.

I have this feeling they are going to keep it, even though it makes no sense. I haven’t seen anyone else mention it.

The calendar week starts on Sunday in many, many more parts of the world than just the US.
It’s biblical. It’s why the Jewish sabbath is on Saturday. Rest on the 7th day (Saturday)
Most Christians observe first day sabbath. (Sunday)

Monday is just the beginning of the work week. But many companies use a Sunday-Saturday workweek for payroll calculations.

I skipped the betas the last two years but ios26 performance has been so poor on my iPhone 15 I decided to get it since so many people have said it’s better. They’re correct, it runs so well it makes iOS26 feel like it was a beta.

I really think ios27 is a big improvement performance wise. If it’s already like this on Dev beta 3 the final release should be even better. Feels like how it should’ve been running in the first place.
