Couldn't agree more. iOS 26 and MacOS Tahoe have been a real step backward. The leadership got complacent — sleeping on their laurels, just like countless big companies before them. The Siri and AI fiasco, Mail's inability to reliably find emails, Finder struggling to locate files, the absurd number of steps to set up a new Mac or iPhone, subscriptions for everything, iCloud pushed at every turn, CarPlay issues, Maps issues, Apple Watch Fitness app problems, bugs throughout both operating systems, the Apple Car debacle, Vision Pro's rough reception — it adds up.

Microsoft, Tesla, and Nvidia have enormous resources and every incentive to chip away at Apple's user base. The iPhone being dominant for 15 years is no guarantee it stays that way for the next 15. Everyone wants a piece of that pie.
The level of user frustration has been building to a point where it can no longer be ignored. Shaking up the leadership was the right call.
