One of Apple’s best acquisitions in years!

It is definitely starting to bear fruit.

I found out about this accidentally. Went to check the weather last night and the app had on its own selected precipitation instead of temperature.

I’d like how Apple denotes the weather icon for each day.

Often I’ll see a rain icon - I’m in the uk! - and then when you drill down to the data it might rain for an hour at 5am or 12pm etc. and else it’ll be fine.

But the icon looks like it’s going to be rainy conditions all day.
Very much agree.

Also, it often looks as if it will be cloudy for much of the day but, if we're lucky, what we get is lovely weather with a few small clouds fleeting past. There is a huge difference between thick and total cloud, with awful visibility, and just having a few interruptions to brilliant sun.

I can't believe no one at Apple notices/checks that.
I am sorry for the people actually needing a strong contrast.
I saw that image and the first thing that I thought was that it is not readable at all.
Siri should check for contrast within Apple development!

If apple could make estimated pricipitation the default instead of %... I don't really care if it there is 100% chance of 0.5 mm in an hour but 50% chance of 5-10 mm could be more important...

More accurate weather would be nice. Accuweather app is more accurate. Apple Weather is mostly wrong.

At least they’re improving it. I like Accuweather, WeatherUnderground, I like some of the style and microclimate of UndercastWeather, I was really hoping Darksky would move Apple Weather forward a little more.

Always thought that dark sky, the app they bought a few years ago to improve Weather was much better than the iOS version. It predicted rain down to the minutes accurately . The radar was better also.
