iOS 3 Podcasts App?

I have a 1st generation iPod touch that I'd like to use as a podcast-listening device and wondered if anyone can recommend a podcast listening app that will work under iOS 3.1.3?

I want the iPod to be stand-alone, don't want to have to sync it with iTunes just to get new podcasts on there, but Instacast and Downcast both require newer versions of iOS.

I guess I need an app that was abandoned just before iOS 4 came out yet is still available in the App Store?

Why don't you download them from the iPod's iTunes app?

That's the last resort as it's very time consuming compared to Instacast or the like.

I've tried Googling the term "podcast", at "site:https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/", with a date range of 11th July 2008 to 3rd April 2010, but those two are all I've found so far.
