iOS 4.1 GM to iOS 4.1 OFFICIAL - HOW?

I think for 4.0 GM to 4.0 public I just hit option and update, pointed to the final release file and it 'updated' it. only difference was lack of game center.

i'll be doing the same again when 4.1 is officially out, just so I know im on the latest version, even if it 'looks' the same.

you can either hit restore and then unplug your iphone whilst it downloads or google, theres always a link posted somewhere to the official firmware seeds

Windows: %AppData%\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates

Don't worry. If you installed the 4.1 GM that leaked last week, today's release is absolutely, completely identical. It will not expire. iTunes will not prompt you to update because you don't need to update. Even if you lose the original ipsw file you are fine. Relax until 4.1.1.

There was size difference. The build is that same but the apps that are packed are different. There are variances in that.
