I was downloading the new update when my ipod crashed and I had restore it to factory settings. Anyone else have this issue or is it an isolated incident.

4.3.2 update killed my apps

I updated my iPod 3rd gen.to 4.3.2 today and it killed all my apps. None of my apps will run now. Even the game i just paid for yesterday.

I had this on my iPhone 4. This phone has never been jailbroken. After downloading, installing, verifying the OS after install, iTunes posted an "error 11" and proceeded to restore the phone to factory defaults.

I make it a habit to sync before I do the update (I really like the "Download Only" option for the new software), so I had a backup that was just taken. I had it restore from that backup and all was well. Since it was backed up, I didn't lose any game progress, just a ton of time I didn't actually have to spare.

This whole ordeal probably took 90 minutes at least, given that restoring a full iPhone via USB isn't all that quick.

I'm doing my iPad 1 now, if I have to restore all 60GB of that it will take a lot longer. :)

In iTunes, de-authorise your computer, re-authorise it and sync.

I just updated my ipod touch to 4.3.2 and everything seems to have went fine. It said that it would take 73 min's and it took every bit of that (and maybe even a little bit longer). I was concerned a little while back when I wanted to sync my windows favorites to my bookmarks in my Ipod, it asked my if I wanted to uninstall "skype"? Out of flustration I said yes. What the heck- it dont take that long to reinstall skype. Well, it didnt uninstall skype and it didnt sync my bookmarks either. Still trying to learn how to do that. Anyway even skype survived the the 4.3.2 update.

I had this when I upgraded to 4.3.2 today. Found info online that said to delete one of your apps, then re-install the app from the app store and would fix the problem. It worked for me.
