I have a silly question, why can't you download the 4.3.1 firmware and hold shift to select the firmware from iTunes.

Unless you had saved your SHSH blobs for 4.3.1 you wouldn't be able to do that. Apple is only signing the newest firmware release 4.3.2 which prevents you from installing any previous releases (unless you have the SHSH).

My golden rule is save those SHSH right away. It's the very first thing I do with any device and any new firmware build.

Need help

Last time I wanted to update to 4.3.1, my ipad2 went into recovery mode and I couldn't restore, so I had go to apple store to get it fixed. Last night tried to update it to 4.3.2 , same thing happened. I am starting to think it is my windows vista computer. COULD ANYBODY HELP ME TO FIX THIS ????? or do I have go back to apple store again.

Being an EX Vista user (still have a W7 puter though), it wouldn't surprise me if Vista was the issue. Unfortunately I can't help you fix it. Sorry.

On my iPad 2, the app store does not recognize apps that I already purchased. Anyone else seeing this?

Ah, thanks for the explanation. I'll use tinyumbrella from now on to save my SHSHs.
