I have not had any problems with 4.2, but I downloaded and installed 4.3 and it slowed my phone down drastically. I have a simple stock iP4 32GB and this thing Crawls now, I know there is no way of going back, but wondering if anyone else has noticed this?

It is usable, just seems to be very slow, however I am thinking of wiping it out again and doing a Fresh Restore, but we will see just what happens, also ironic but it seems I have to keep pressing my home button to get it to respond since the upgrade but that could just be a HW issue anyway.

I have a 3GS, and I feel like all the animations on my phone just got laggier/slower with 4.3. Most of the time when I quit out of an app, it lags on the animation. Before it didn't.

Apple had to start killing the 3GS anyways

Download the .ipsw update file standalone. Don't do update through iTunes.

Back up your iPhone. Once you have the file, use iTunes and hit Option + Restore instead of Update. Point iTunes to the update file. This should restore/update your iPhone in one fell swoop. It'll get rid of all that "Other" files junk that's probably clogging up your phone. When it asks you to set up the iPhone, just choose your backup.

It made my phone feel as snappy as on day 1. Before this, I would get random lags and hiccups.

Been using the GM since day 1 and its been fine for me.. Restore and set up as new looks to be your only option.

Can you download them on Apple's website?

And using the link from iClarified won't brick my device? I haven't done it this way in forever and don't want to screw it up.
I trust them. If it happens to be a bad download (I've gotten them from Apple before) just redownload it and try again. It's near impossible to brick an iDevice unless you're a true hacker.
