    To further touch on this subject ...

    While they won't be in 4.3, Apple is not asking for "whether to implement or not" feedback from developers. They want to know exactly how or if these new gestures will interfere with some applications.

    These new gestures are likely coming in iOS 5.

    Another point about AirPlay, it's turned off in applications and web sites by default.

    Developers have to explicitly opt-in to AirPlay support. Also, it's turned off by default for the QuickTime plug-in on Web pages, and web developers will have to explicitly opt-in to AirPlay on their Web sites.

    No one seems to be mentioning that, and it could take awhile to implement.

    I'm not sure why Apple didn't just make it enabled by default and let content creators opt-out. That would make a lot more sense than trying to get the entire Web to opt-in.
