If the phone is brick = dead, should return it since it's still under warranty, but I am going to assume you are using the term "Brick" incorrectly and that's not the case. Now, it seems my brother iPhone 4 that he got since early Nov. will be a brick for a lot longer.

According to Comex:
I don't know, I think I'm waiting for the Verizon iPhone.
So, it's going to be at least another few weeks.
It's a shame that Geohot is in so much legal trouble, he actually delivers instead of waiting for every insignificant update. go greenpoison!
I disagreed, Wasting a exploit with such a imminent release is a bad idea.
it also make sense to delay the unlock since currently you cannot upgrade without updating the baseband, they need to overcome the baseband check first.
I'd hardly call it imminent.

Delaying the unlock is fine since that is much more difficult to create.
What did Geohot do that got him in legal trouble? because jailbreaking is legal
Guess what ? after 4.3 there will be iOS 4.4 or iOS 5 !
We should wait for iOS 19 in my opinion in order to save ALL TEH exploits. Make sens obviously.
Stolen....... ??!
Unless you or someone else can code an unlock faster all we have left is wait and be thankful that at least someone is willing to work on it.
Yes stolen.....
removed
of course if they did release it now a bunch of people upgrade to 4.3 plus the new Verizon folks crying no matter what people are going to cry. I really wish more people would learn to hack then cry. Also Comex said this yesterday so who knows. http://www.redmondpie.com/jailbreak-verizon-iphone-4-ios-4.2.5-comex-is-not-going-to-wait/
Reading through your post is like reading my 5 year old daughters' diary, please learn some basic grammar. Nobody here is crying, just making some basic observations.
It also looks like you aren't very good at reading/understanding timestamps. Comex's tweet is newer than the blog you posted.
Try again - and this time do some basic research before making a fool out of yourself.

He's in trouble over the PS3 rootkeys.
Geohot did not steal anything.
This is besides the point and no related to this thread, but he himself said he "used" Sony's key to sign his code. "Sony's key" AKA Code no belong to him..... AKA he STOLE Sony's code and used it on his own release. That simple.

Let me guess - he's not on AT&T and needs an unlock to use it on T-Mobile?
