iOS 4 and Text message time stamps

Do they have time stamps for every text now?

Why do some texts appear without a time stamp even if they're over 20 minutes apart??

Strange. I figure it takes more effort to program in some sort of If Statement instead of just having time stamps for all messages lol.

I wish they had the option to put timestamps with all messages...

I always thought this was very weird. It's very random that some are stamped and others aren't. I guess you can get a general idea between stamps but still- an unusual lack of feature.
