Doesn't my iPhone normally get 'backed up' anyway?

Wow - it is like a sector for sector copy. (meaning it is just taking a very long time and I have an 8GB 3G)

Cannot wait for my faster iPhone 4 this week!

My iTunes 9.2 still says 3.1.3 is the current version for my iPhone 3GS.. what can I do? I'm on the east coast in the US.

im one the east canadian coast and it says the same.

Just finished the download. It started off wicked fast, but it slowed down greatly toward the end. I'm sure a lot of people are hitting the servers!

Seems iOS 4 is not yet available in all countries' iTunes download servers, so downloading manually with the links in my first post is your best bet.

Wow

This explains why the servers are loaded. Even MacRumors is experiencing loading issues.

I wonder when the iPhone Development team will release their announced jailbreak/unlock for iOS4.
