I can get the GM from a friend and iTunes 9.2 beta. I'm not sure if there an unlock exists for it?

Of course not. Took a couple months for the 3GS to get an unlock. I do hope it is soon though but it wont matter. I wont buy the new iPhone when people are selling them for $700 plus.
