I can't update here at work, downloads are blocked by my company. Is it a major update or just security stuff?

It's not yet showing up on the 4 iPhones and 1 iPad in the family. I'm in Denver, CO. Will update this post when it does.

EDIT: it's available for all my devices now 🙂

The update showed up on my iPad ...and wouldn't show up on my iPhone until about 5 minutes later.

Now both are installing.

Wait, what? Since when has 5.1 been untethered JB in the first place? Let alone 5.1.1

Did I miss something?

...I realize they're talking about A4 only phones, but still. Anyone try this?

EDIT: Nevermind... it's a tethered JB. Still, has anyone tried it with 5.1.1?

My iTunes didn't automatically give me the update. I had to press the "check for update" button, then it popped up for me.

iTunes doesn't check very often, something like once a week or there abouts.

Just installed on my 4.

Might be a placebo but everything seems so much faster for me...maybe it just needed a reboot haha. But still, just feels really optimised.

Anyone else noticing a speed improvement?
