iOS 5.1: iPad 1 Lock Screen Knob Change?

On my iPad 1, the knob arrow on the slide to unlock screen changed from black to gray. Has anyone else noticed this??? 😕
 
Back when iOS was a baby all the switches in the settings were square. Apple tweaks things over time to be more pleasing to the eye.
