Hoping someone else has this issue or knowledge of the issue and maybe has a fix.
I had the same issue with iOS 4 but I swapped out the mobilewatchdog file for one from iOS 3.1.3 and it worked a treat. Tried to do the same with iOS 5 but the original file location does not exist. Not sure if it's been moved or renamed but I don't have the knowledge to figure this part out.
Currently my 3GS has a tethered jailbreak as i needed to do this in order to SSH the phone, as you can imagine now that every time the phone reboots I need to boot tethered.
Only option for now is go go back to iOS 4 (if I can) and hope someone else comes up with a solution.
