IOS 5 and twitter....can't see news feed

I just got my 4S. I backed up my old iPhone 4 and sync'd the new one with my backup through iTunes. I open twitter and it says Private account tap to retry. I see everybody I'm following etc, but can't see the usual news feed. what's up with that.

Forget it. I figured it out.

I don't have that problem but try to uninstall and reinstall twitter

I don't receive notifications for Twitter too... Someone told me that notifications for Twitter are only for tweets sent to you. Is that true ?

yes, notifications are just for DM's and mentions, same as it used to be, that's the way the app was designed.
