Just try googling and other blogs says

'' Just minutes before it’s release yesterday, Apple made a daring move to postpone the release. The confirmed date for the release is August 29, 2011 at 1:10pm (PST). That is 10 days from now. Is there still things Apple though wasn’t ready for release yet? If you live on the east coast of the US, expected release for us will be at 4:10pm ''

All I did when I went from Beta 4 OTA to Beta 5 was install it. o erasing, no loss of data, no wonky functions afterward. It was nice.

I heard it worked for some, but not me. Update never showed up. Ended up just doing wired update / restore.

Just installed. Here is hoping that its better than Beta 5 (and below). My iPad 1 is so slow and crashes a lot with ios 5. Tried fresh installs but nothing helps. Seems like they are slowing things down and removing features so that we buy to an iPad 2.

Not impressed, especially as the original iPad is a year and a half old.

Apple Sucks......
