Hello,

This is realy nice!

What an awesome find and I'm glad you decided to bring it to these forums. Most of those ideas are awesome and I would love to see them in iOS 5. Widgets and information on the lock screen and quick settings all sound sooo nice. Hell, all of it sounds incredible. I'm surprised however that he left out a new notification system seeing as that seems to be the most important thing for everyone. Anyways can't wait for WWDC.

That's awesome. It's literally everything I could possibly think to add to the iPhone, keeping it recognizable, but adding enough features that it no longer feels stale. Very cleanly done by whoever created the slideshow!

Not bad, not bad at all.

BUT, there are privacy issues re: posting notifications to the lock screen. And I'd prefer Widgets be confined to the Spotlight page, which is largely wasted space, or the lock screen.

I would be more than satisfied if this were iOS 5 as long as it didn't come with battery issues and/or stability issues. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Very nice! Must have taken a lot of time to put together and all. Looking forward to iOS 5 with great anticipation :)

How long is it til a newly announced IOS is available to install, for example when was IOS 4 available after it was announced....does anyone remember/know?

Quick access to settings, particularly screen brightness, is something I could get used to! A few good ideas there, and a few pretty average ones too. 'Stack Applications'? Eek — no thanks. That's definitely 'more simple than never'. ;)

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; nl-nl) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8J2 Safari/6533.18.5)

I also hope we will see some of this in ios5 only thing i missed was live updating app icons in the home screen (as calendar does each day)

Seems like this might quell the appetite of some. You know there will always be something that someone doesn't like. Looking forward to seeing what they do with the notifications. Thanks for the link!

I dig it.

I know most if not all of that can be done with hacks but I don't really feel like hacking mine. Seems like a hassle, though admittedly I've never tried.

I think the new feature that needs to be in the new iOS is the ability to delete individual calls and not have to clear the whole darn thing, however by looking at these slides, I like what I see, however who knows what will make it in there, and I highly doubt Apple will use Widgets only because Android uses them, but we will see.

I have most of these features on my iPhone already.

iPhone hacks ftw.

Seriously, all the person who made that slideshow did was take some of the better hacks out there for iPhones and wish they were integrated natively into the OS. None of them are original or groundbreaking.

yes thats true all of this is available but many of the new iphone features were hacks, custom wallpapers, folders, rotation, etc.

the one missing feature a quick toggle for wifi, bluetooth, gps

other than that looks great hope that some of this makes it into ios 5
