Did Apple scratch the whole "pattern lockscreen" feature for iOS 5? I was looking forward to it, but can't find it anywhere on the GM, unless I'm not looking in the right place.

That is a standard android feature, and is available on iOS through jailbreak. I've had every beta installed and don't ever recall this being a proposed feature.

There was never a pattern unlock feature, nor was it announced as a feature by Apple.

Oh, I remember that article. It's from February and the article clearly states it was being used internally for Apple Connect which is for employees.

It was never publicly announced by Apple.

Was wondering, are you still able to create custom text tones?
