Did anyone else realize that iOS 5 GM is missing the hotspot option in settings. I can't seem to find it anywhere, but throughout the beta I had it. Does anyone know where it went or what the reasoning may be?

Hey man, I have the Personal Hotspot feature on my iOS upgraded phone. You may want to call and make sure it's still part of your data plan.

Reset your network settings. I had the same problem.

It's there, just may have to reset the network settings. At least that is what I had to do to have it appear and work as needed.

I completely forgot about that option. I'll reset them and see what happens.

Ok, two resets of network settings and a hard reset later and nothing. Maybe a restore is in order. Never had any issues like this before.

    Settings
    -general
    -network
    -personal hotspot = on

It took me 2 resets as well, then I had to do the steps above.
