iOS 5 GM Now that iPhone event announced

Should we look to see the iOS GM today or within the next few days since the iPhone event was finally announced? How did it go last year? Was the GM available before the event?

I know things are different this year, but hoping to hear some thoughts when the GM will be available.

Usually within a week or two. Probably before the new iPhone launches.

Why do you say to remember to backup your music? How do you backup your iTunes library?

Personally, I back up the music folder to an external HD as well as a NAS drive. But I know not everyone does. So it's a reminder.
