iOS 5 GM on iPhone 4

I know that a only a few will get the iOS5 GM, but those that do I have a question.

iOS 5 Beta X made the iPhone run slow - esp messages and email.

Does the GM fix those issues and make the iP4 run as quick as before?

I didn't install any beta versions but I have the GM installed. It doesn't seem any different (tom me) than the jailbroken 4.3.3 I had prior.
