iOS 5, LED Flash on Notifications!

It can seem that way for one of my customers who are used to me being on a Blackberry and get an answer with in a minute instead of 20 minuts on not at all if I did not hear it.

if you don't hear it, that's your fault, but iPhone has push so you get emails straight away. plus in iOS 5 you get custom email sounds so can have something distinct now. your whole complaining about waiting 15 mins for an email is 2 years old and resolved already once push came in

Push notifications on iPhone doesn't work nowhere near as good as it does on BBerry. I had a BBerry Pearl and as soon as I got an email it was on my phone instantly every time. With iPhone it sometimes sends it to me when I get it, and most of the time it gets lost in Push and never comes in, then you open emails and you have 20 come in at once. Apple's Push notifications are a far ways from the way BBerry works. I still like the iPhone way better than I ever liked the BBerry, but there are improvements to be made.

it works perfectly fine on my iPhone, i get them instantaneously, i've never once had it miss one. maybe its your email provider, but my gmail and my hotmail ones come in perfectly and now my iCloud me.com ones do the same.

I use yahoo email, the same as I did on my BBerry. Is this not good enough

Create a Gmail account and have all your Yahoo emails forwarded to the Gmail account. Problem solved

getting away from yahoo is worth the effort!!! gmail is brill. i'm liking the iCloud email too

Do you think they really implemented this feature for the hearing impaired? Come on. It's brownie points for them to say that.

Create a Gmail account and have all your Yahoo emails forwarded to the Gmail account. Problem solved

May do it in the future, but not now. I just setup a Gmail account and then I was gonna forward my emails from Yahoo. They charge $20/yr for this feature...Really, that is quite far-fetched if you ask me. Paying $20 for an effortless forwarding, but I guess I will just have to see if I can change over my email accounts myself. Thanks again for the idea though.

Never owned a Blackberry, but when I had the SE Satio the LED Notification light was one of the only things I liked about the phone, told me when I had a missed something, told me when my battery was low, when my phone was fully charged, when it was charging as well as other things, would love it on the next iPhone!

That is sweet...at work I can throw it on mute and have it face down on my desk and not have to unlock it every hour to check on it

I had hoped it be a more of a missed call or txt indicator. With certain time intervals u could set.
