iOS 5 timing?

    Updates are never released once the clock strikes 12am Cupertino time.

    I could be misremembering, but historically hasn't there also been some variability in when an update is released and when people's iTunes will see it?

    If so, expect a flood of "iOS5 is released, why doesn't my iTunes see it!" posts tomorrow... :eek:

    Upon updating from 4.x, will we have to do a complete restore/wipe?

    in case any brits are wondering, 10am pacific time is 6pm in the uk (bst)!

    I only got my iPhone 4 in Jan so no 4S for me I'm afraid.
