I came across this just now, but I don't see anyone talking about this, so I'm not sure if its legit, or a virus from someone pretending to be the Chronic Dev Team.

    GreenPois0n RC7, untethered jailbreak for iOS 5

    -link removed, probable scam-

    What do you guys think?

It is a scam. Only the old bootrom 3Gs is untethered on iOS 5.

Thanks guys, I removed the link from the OP so no one makes the mistake of thinking it could be real. The site looked like it could be legit from Chronic Dev Team, but some of it looked weird, like the CDT logo at the bottom.

Probably best to delete that file.

    untethered

While we're looking forward to IOS 5 untethered for most of the devices (except Ipad2 and iPhone 4 later), this sounds premature.

We'll likely hear from the known sources said to be continuing, not someone out of the blue. So yeah likely a scam. :(
