I think it was about 3-4 weeks for iOs5 to get to 5.01. Does this go out to the devs before the masses? What are the issues so far?

    -Ghosting/static on the password screen
    -Batt life for some
-Safari Bookmark sync(could be batt life related)
-Active sync for xchange(also maybe batt life)
    -Maps?
    -Fixes for Scuffs? (just kidding)
    ...

We haven't even seen. Beta release yet. It'll be a few more weed at least.

    Did someone say weed? haha.

Yeah, we can bet Apple is working like hell on an 01 patch. Just a matter of time.

The iOS development team probably doesn't have much time for weed; Tim Cook's likely standing behind them with a whip yelling 'nobody moves an inch until the damn maps stop embarrassing me!'

Weed is probably what gave us Maps. Have you seen some of the people who work at the retail stores? If Apple lets that be the face of their product, one could only imagine who's hiding behind doors in Cupertino.

Past .0.1 releases have been 3-5 weeks after the initial release. So I would speculate before October 31st.

    Hahaha....

    "Hey man...

    *cough*

...that code you just wrote, will like, you know, put buildings inside of other buildings..."

"I know, right, cuz, I'm like in this 4 dimensional space right now

    *puff*

...maybe roads should be in the ocean because I think dolphins can actually drive ..."

    There's also the:

    - MAIL: Swoosh sound before SMTP negotiation bug.
    - MAIL: Exchange Server connectivity broken on send.

Personally, I'd like to see these 2 things fixed ASAP.
Mail in the corporate environment is just so unreliable right now since iOS6 upgrade.

He's probably NOT behind them with a whip.

It's probably why we're in this mess in the first place.

It has only been a little over a week. It'll take some time, probably in a month or so.
