I just received the iOS 6.1.3 to update on my 4s. I'm not really having issues with my 4s at all should I update any way? If I don't update how do I get rid of the number 1 on my setting. Thanks for your input.

Update, everything should be fine. If you don't want to update, there is no way to get rid of the app badge on Settings unless you jailbreak.

Dont update

If you have jailbroke your Iphone don't update it to 6.1.3, there is only tethered jailbreak available for this and it looks bugged. If you don't use hacked apps or cydia then go ahead and update your phone with the latest firmware.
