    Hello I'm new to macrumors. Just got a black iPhone 5 always read macrumors but anyway does anyone have any idea when the new update will be coming out. My phone battery is horrible.

    The next version of iOS will likely be iOS 7 in the fall unless there is a critical security exploit found and highly publicized that Apple will need to close right away.

    I thought they would update since the battery is so horrible. And that they gotta change the vpn

    Not everyone is having bad battery life and the VPN change is on their end.

    Try a restore and setup as new phone.
    That might fix your issues with battery.

    This ^^

    A clean restore and do not restore to backup - (set your phone up manually) is the best way to get battery issues back to normal.

    You my friend are incorrect, as you can see iOS 6.1.4 was just released moments ago. :eek:

    uh huh and how many ninja fixes are in this update that Apple didn't document.
