I think you're right on this....I have the 4s, and with my mophie charging an extra 75%, I am up to 10 hrs usage and 1 day 5 hrs standby.
This is good to hear! Can't wait to get my hands on it!
When is 6.1 supposed to drop?
That's it? That seems like really poor battery life, especially with a Mophie attached.
iPhone 4S standby time is around 225 hours (9.3 days). Are you sure about that?
Wonder if this would extend battery life for users who already have a positive experience on the i5.
Welcome to the iPhone 4S. It's not fun.
Supposedly January, but no confirmation yet.
Lol serious, can post a screenshot?
Well my battery life has got steadily better with each beta, so I cannot see why not.
Have any ETA on when 6.1 will be dropped?
Only Apple knows
Well the talk is for the next keynote. So end of January beginning of February.
This looks like about what I get on my phone now.. usually 6-7 hours of usage on 6.0.1
Not bad on my 4S either.
There were battery life issues on the iPhone 5? Maybe I was just surprised at how much more battery life I got when I upgraded from the 3GS, that I didn't notice I was getting less than usual.
I can get 6+ solid hours of usage though on 6.0.1.
This usage is when I was playing Arc Squadron most of the time:
Even better today!
I'm getting terrible battery life on 6.1 beta 4. Wifi battery is actually a tad worse, too. Not only that, i am getting lock ups and freezes when I have never previously gotten them. Not too impressed at this point. Only thing I like is being able to use the music app when connected to my car stereo.
This is with a dfu restored iPhone 5 on 6.1 b4. Maybe next time they will nail it.
I would hazard this is due to the apps you have installed. Are you restoring from iCloud after DFU? Another thing to factor is if you are using LTE?
Are those usage times mostly on Wifi or LTE? I can't use the iPhone anymore without LTE anymore, 3G is so slow
I've had very good experience with the battery though, no complains using navigation, browsing and music.
And at moments of crisis, I just turn off data entirely and that seems to help the battery life a lot.
Is 3g drain faster tan lte?
A 3G cannot use LTE data speeds.
I am ok with 3g speeds ,its about 7mbiys.how about battery performance
