IOS 6 Application Issues

I am unable to open many of the applications including whatsapp. Is it because I did not update my IOS, because everything was working fine till morning.Suddenly, most of them stopped working.Please help me out..!!!

What does the error message say? Post screenshots? Running iOS 6 on an iPhone 5 and have no problem.
