IOS 6 Beta 1: stability

It seems my WiFi only 3rd generation iPad doesn't like WiFi. There's some irony for you I suppose. I reset my router, disabled security, reset network settings on the iPad, restored as new...nothing worked.

Seems I won't be on the beta boat this time around since without WiFi, my iPad is pretty much useless for anything I need.

My wifi runs fine on my new iPad. I even restored from backup without issues.

It's more stable then the Windows 8 Developer Preview lol.....


I've really only had a few issues. Safari rarely cashes, but it remembers my tabs so it's fine, I can't type addresses in the maps, and sometimes a reinstall for a app is needed after restoring from a iTunes backup.

Otherwise I'm thrilled with it. Very stable and I love Siri.

For those of us who have Router issues, go and check if WMM is enabled on your router. It is required In order for the Wi-Fi iPad 3 to work. Make sure it is on. It's a glitch that should block you from being able to use most wifi hotspots and tethering, so it kinda sucks. But hopefully beta2 will be better.
