iOS 6 Beta 2: Current Bugs & Flaws Thread

Here we go time to post all the bugs you find. I will update the list below as we confirm some of the most common problems.

Please list the problem
Device you are using.
Fix (if available)

Most Common Bugs/Problems:
-Screen turns on randomly and shows "Enter Passcode"
-Taping "What's New" on an app update takes you to the app details. (fixed) and the app store looks like iOS 5. This is all done on the server side. (Apple changed it)
-When the camera roll opens to select a photo it hangs for 5 sec.
-My XBOX Live app crashes.
-Apple Store App still not working. (try to reboot)
-Purchase History in app store. (try to reboot)
-Slight delay when sliding lock bar or typing in passcode.


My Bugs: (not confirmed)
-Random Logging out of the app store.
-Photos.apps will not let you crop photos.
-Reminders app crashes when you edit existing reminder. (happens randomly)

Fixes:
-Purchase History in app store. (reboot)
-Apple Store App still not working. (reboot)

-When going through a long history of text messages with someone, deleting specific texts takes you ALL the way back to the bottom. This can be rather annoying when you are dealing with messages in a specific time from as you have to scroll all the way back through and find your spot.
-Siri still sounds compressed and more robotic-like. EDIT: she just changed to hq!! :)

Also, purchase history is still not available in the store. :(

What device are you using? I have no problem with either items you mentioned on 4S. Never mind I see your signature.

uploading pic because the reminders thing happened again...

See the edit button top right... it should say done. If you tap edit the app will crash.

Hybrid view in maps is not working for me. Satellite view also.
iPhone 4S

Fixed by rebooting again!

I'd file a bug report. Works fine on my phone.
The release notes say it crashes, but mine does not crash.

Siri can now only launch apps with a prefix such as "Launch" or "Open".

This is a real shame as it hinders fluid navigation IMO. "Photos" to see my photos seems much more natural than "Launch photos".

Siri now simply tells you she doesn't understand "Photos" etc...

In beta 1 you could say, "Photos", and she would open it???

Yes, except this isn't exactly a Beta 2 change. My Beta 1 devices have switched to the new Siri now too. I suppose thats a server thing.

But prior to an hour ago yes, Siri could launch any app, including photos just by saying its name :(
 
When trying to upload photos to a webpage there is a large amount of lag at the camera roll.

Can anyone else confirm this?
 
Anyone try to install iOS6 Beta 2 on a 3rd gen Wifi Only iPad? I know that when i tried to install Beta 1 it did not work, and later I found out that there was a known issue with it.

After rebooting your device and seeing an app store like in the photo can you go to purchase history? Mine works now. Confirm?

Really? If you walked up to a human and said "photos" they'd look at you like you had two heads. I'm glad app launching is narrowed to a couple specific commands. I don't want accidental misfires.
 
Audio from YouTube is outputting at over 100% which makes it sound pretty crappy.

For many apps it made a lot of sense, like "Translate" for example - this would launch iTranslate.

Its similar to the John Malkovich ads, say "joke" etc... One word commands are a very efficient way of navigating the OS.

Siri is pretty intelligent, I had no misfires under this operation.
 
Auto brightness is still messed up.

After reboot, I have the old App Store back with a darker shade. Just like the picture posted above.

I have iTranslate and SayHi on my phone. How's Siri supposed to know which one I want if I simply say "Translate?"

It's not similar to what Malkovich said because he was basically asking for something open ended. Joke could return an infinite number of responses. When I need the specificity of launching a single app I'm likely going to have to be more definitive in my utterance for accurate results.
