iOS 6 Beta 3: Current Bugs & Flaws Thread

Same problem with updates on iPad3 here.

Another bug with iPhone4S (norwegian) and Beta3:

Enabling of the "VoiceOver" feature disabled any touch-function of the screen. Homebutton worked like before, Siri too, but no input via touch was possible.

Only possibility to recover was setting phone in DFU mode, installing firmware image and restoring from icloud backup.
 
****ing Weird Music App in Landscape Mode Bug

Now this is probably one of the most interesting bugs i've seen on my iOS 6.
I was playing some music and i accidentally flipped it over to landscape mode, and overflow showed up, but when i flipped back to normal, the whole music app was in landscape mode. i mean list of songs, the artists, the bars, everything was in landscape mode, but it was also partly cut away.
Anybody has this type of bug?
 
my battery has decided to melt. Dropped like 20% in about 30 mins this morning. hardley used the phone.

I don't know if this has been mentioned (did a quick search), but under the visual voicemail I noticed that speaker phone isn't working :(

EDIT: speaker phone is working under the phone app (while in call) just not when listening to a vm.

Is anyone else having problems sending pictures on SMS? It won't let me send any multimedia, it just fails.

It works perfectly on iMessage, but not SMS. Anyone else?
 
Experiences on the iPad3:

Sometimes App Store app doesn't update the "Updates" tab. It requires me to kill the App Store app and reload. Sometimes the Badge does not get properly set to nil after updates.

Sometimes the Home Button does not turn the display on. Hitting the home button the screen stays dark. I need to hit the top sleep/power button TWICE to trigger the screen to come on. Once to "turn it off", even though it is "on, but not displaying", and a second time to trigger the display coming on.
 
Is anyone getting error while restoring from last backup by right clicking our device icon?

+1, I finally managed to find the app that had an update after manually searching the App Store for all my installed apps.. Turns out it was CineXPlayer, also this week, Temple Run, Infinity Blade 2 and Dead Trigger.
 
App Store Bugs:
  • Sometimes updates do not show up even when badge says there is updates
  • Significantly slower than on previous iOS'
  • Doesn't show most updated reviews in apps, most recent reviews are from 2011

iMessage bugs
picture messages often times have problems sending thru​
 
Bug: The Max Volume is set very low, but cannot be adjusted.

Model: iPod Touch 4th Gen

Fix: I wish I had one because this is super annoying.

Side note: Volume still works fine in a dock, as well as out of the iPod touch itself, it only plays very quietly with headphones in.

I'm completely disappointed with apples iOS6. I'm not sure why felt the need to release this garbage.
Here's a list of flaws:
1. Even though password for in-app purchases is on, it never ask for a password (so my kids haven't been allowed to play on my phone).
2. When I select 2 photos from the camera roll and send them as an iMessage, all appears fine... Until you go to your message and discover they're not there. So you open you camera roll wondering if you forgot to hit send... but you didn't. If you send another text (text, not picture), close messages, then reopen, your message is suddenly there. It's like the text message "bumped" the picture message to not only send but to show up in the message screen.
3. I downloaded an app and move it to another section of my screen. When I went to original location of the download screen there was a phantom version of the new app still loading. So now I had one complete app version and one phantom, still "loading" 30 minutes later version. The phantom version couldn't be deleted. In order to remove it I had to delete the good version (which did not delete the phantom version), then re-install the app... *that* eliminated the phantom, stuck in loading app.

This isn't a "bug"... But I STRONGLY dislike the new maps! I loved that I could google something then hit "directions" and have the map app pull it up. I don't find the 3d map feature nearly as useful as street view.

I thought apple was suppose to be the leader in technology... with this update, I feel like I just got thrown back into 1999! Just give me back my silver, flip, Motorola Razor why don't you?!
 
iPad- iPhone 4 - iPhone 5

I've got iOS 6 running on 3 devices and boy am I unlucky.

Firstly, my iPad 3 chugs along now- the apps I use most (like Japanese English dictionary) have gone from one of the smoothest Apps on iOS 5 to stuttering and barely coping with iOS 6. Apps crash on me regularly- they just shut off without warning bringing me to the home screen.

Safar on iPad 3 also crashes a lot and works much slower than it did on iOS 5. iOS 6 also chews through battery at an unbelievable pace. I could get away with 1 charge every week and a half or so on iOS 5, since upgrading and getting the same use I've had to charge it twice in 4 days. I don't know what its doing but on standby alone it drops 12-15% a day now, doing nothing, where previously it would be 2-3% max on standby.

iPad won't stay connected to a Wi-Fi network either, and doesn't recognise my home network all the time.

Now for iPhone 5- its a mess. I came fresh out of the box with nicks in the metal rim, but I get less than a day battery life from the same use with wi-fi everywhere. iPhone 4 I would go 48 hours without a charge.
 
FWIW, I had to restore mine get it to show wifi at full strength on my home network..3 bars instead of 1.
