I have a developer account but I rely too much on my 4s and iPad 3 for work to load ios 6 and have something like logmein not work.....

I can't seem to grab iTunes 10.6.3. It keeps sending me to the regular page on apple.com...

Note that it says "Release version" of iTunes in the dev portal. The reason it sends you to the regular page is because it's not a pre-release version of iTunes. iTunes 10.6.3 was released today. To the public.

someone tweeted 10.6.3 direct link to me. Look at tweets at @rjonesy. (Sorry work blocks Twitter, first person paste it.)

Exploring iOS 6 now, will tweet screenshots to @macrumors of good stuff

The redesigned stores look very nice...

thanks for clearing that up

my 4S is not activating either. says it is not a registered device....grrrrr. double checked my udid and still not working

I've had the DMG ready for 15min already. A bit worried... are you guys installing this on your primary iPhones? I really want to give it a spin on my 4S. The warning says you can't downgrade back to iOS 5 if anything doesn't work so well. But I remember being able to downgrade from iOS 5 beta to iOS 4 release without any problems by pointing iTunes at the iOS 4 IPSW and doing a restore...

I guess I'm a little disappointed, but what were you hoping for? The user interface is the best in the business at this point. Why change it?

I don't mean like trash Android things to be implemented to the iOS, but i mean if it's a new iOS "number" it should have few more things, just something i don't know...

The UI is of course the most useful thing so there is not a big change needed.

So sad that iOS6 will be sending all those 1G iPads to the landfill before their 3rd birthday.
But yet somehow a 2009 3gs iPhone is still golden? If there ever was an extreme example of apple forking over their customers it's here right before your eyes.

About the time where most people on this forum wish they had developer accounts.

not me.

one of my buddies has a SDK account and "lent" me a copy of iOS 5 to use my iPhone 4. that crap was so freaking buggy (as I knew it would be) that I only used it for one day and I got rid of that crap.

I have no idea why lots of people go gaga over this stuff. I've learned to sit back and let the developers and the pros work the bugs out. then, and only then do I jump aboard the new ship.

Apple has already done a favor for iPads, by keeping the same price for the 3rd gen as the 2nd gen of iPads, so another reason iPad 1 owners to upgrade...

There must be a technical reason. Anything else makes no sense. What does Apple gain by dropping support for the original iPad? Especially in light of the fact that they kept support for the 3GS (although I'm sure not with all features). Makes no sense.
