When I first loaded the GM to a test phone today, I signed into Facebook and Twitter via settings and had the Twitter and Facebook post buttons in notification center. Sometime in the last couple hours, those buttons disappeared. I tried signing out and back into both services, but the buttons will not come back. I also power cycled the device.

Not really a feature I'd use very much, but was wondering if this has happened to anyone else. May report it as a bug.
Do you have the "Share Widget" enabled in Notification Center?

App Store search still broken for me on GM.

If i scroll quickly through the cards it stops after a few of them and i cant go back to the first one. Also it shows the incorrent card number sometimes.
Had the same issue. Negative/incorrect numbering of app search results due to scrolling too fast through the few apps shown.

Did anyone's Safari bookmarks disappear by any chance? I can't imagine myself deleting them and it seems the ability to add bookmarks is broken.

Animations are nice and smooth on the iPad 3 again. After Beta 1, opening folders stuttered, now it pauses for a fraction of a second and then does the animation. (you should see that opening a full folder takes a fraction of a second longer than one with one or two icons)

The iPad auto brightness bug still there -_-
Can you describe this bug? It seems to be working correctly here. (same as iOS 4 & 5 at least…)

It looks like Podcasts are back in Music app. I wonder what other changes from the betas were reverted.

Auto brightness just doesn't work with iOS 6

Does anybody of you have this problem? I get a blank "SpringBoard" icon on my home screen and tried resetting my phone it didn't go away.

I feel auto brightness has actually been fixed in IOS 6 GM (iPhone 4S). Up to beta 4, it had strange bugs, like it would sometimes turn on way too dark and never adapt.

Now it may turn on a bit dark, but it gradually adapts when it finds out that ambient light is becoming brighter. Overall I find it to be smoother and I even prefer it if compared to 5.1.1 (especially when checking out the phone at night in total darkness - 5.1.1 would leave me half blind, iOS 6 doesn't).

It’s working fine here. If I am in a dark room and walk into a bright room, the screen gradually gets brighter.

If I am in a bright room and walk to a dark room, the screen stays bright until you either sleep & wake the device, or let the display go idle and start using it again. Personally I wish you could turn that idle time off though, and/or have fine-grained control over display sleep as you can with Macs.

I have my iPad set to lock with a secure password immediately, which is a nuisance if the sleep time is short. If I set it to five minutes, it keeps dimming while I am reading, but 10 minutes is longer than I would prefer to leave it on before locking. I’d rather have six minutes with no dimming before sleep, and a five to ten second grace-period, rather than a full minute. With a MacBook, that seems to about the right length of time to read at a casual speed, but not so long that you are running the battery down.

You may need to reset your device settings if it isn’t working for you.

I didn't look in any previous betas but if you go to
settings->general->about->advertising there is a limit ad tracking option

Does anyone know if the new iTunes feature "Next Up" has been added to iOS6? It would be a great addition to the Music.app.

Do you have iOS 6 ? I remember you said its working fine for you on iOS4/5. Because this brightness bug has been a issue for a lot of us. The GM I did a clean restore install on my iPad. I did the same for beta 4. Brightness still broken... :(

No. The Music app is still lacking in many features.

it works on my ios 6 gm but its really slow and changes gradually rather than instantly as it did before.

Edit, it seems to dim in a dark room slowly but when you go back to a well lit room the brightness just stays dim and doesnt return.

awful
