iOS 6 Needs Icons Like These

The camera icon in particular. It's just so very …amateurish.

I really like iOS and all and have my fair share of devices running it. But in my opinion, It's starting to look antiquated.

Of course this is all opinion and personal preference, but the iOS camera icon looks much better than the Android one that was posted. The dimensions on it aren't even correct.

I'd say the iOS lens (complete with flare!) looks much better than the Android one. The detail on the iOS icon is spectacular.

I also thought the person who said they liked the Android icons was being sarcastic. I guess they weren't. They look terrible to me.

Android icons are sloppy, all different shapes/sizes and look like ass! I like iOS's flow of all the same size, etc

Yeah same, kinda just jump to the green for phone & text.
Tried it again (quickly) - it looks better, but I don't know.....

I hated the new iTunes logo when it first came out....now I love it. So maybe I'm just stuck in my old ways

Those are some pretty icons!
That's one of my favorite things about iOS. The icons are all the same size and shape, making it look more uniform than Android's icons. It's one thing I find very enticing about iOS.

I just wish they would finally change the phone or messages icon from the same green color. I like both to be in the dock side by side, but for some reason it looks bad to me having two greens in a row.

Stupid, I know, but due to this I keep Phone in the top left and Messages in the dock.

The FaceTime icon on the new iPad looks really bad (blurry on the right side) in comparison to the Camera icon. Hope they clean it up at some point!

Messages looks very good indeed. I wouldn't be surprised if we see Apple changing it to look that way

Wow, that looks amazing. The music app icon and the simplification of Safari are something I'd love too... in addition to the obviously gorgeous messages icon.

Those look good except Mail. Apple's default Mail icon is awful. Why not make the icon the entire envelope (like how Contacts is a giant addressbook, or Calculator is a calculator).
