iOS 6, On the 19th or when your iphone 5 arrives ?

I believe the iPhone 5 comes with iOS 6 pre-installed.

From reading alot of posts on here it seems lots of users have already sold their current iPhone !
The iphone 5 ships with ios6.
Personally i'll be updating my 4s to ios6 and then watching the unboxing and first thought you tube tutorials, and playing with the instore working demo models before i invest £530 in the next iPhone.

im gonna wait and see what ppl using an iphone 4 feel about ios6. if there arent any major problems, ill go ahead... but then what about my JB? will i end up losing all my themes and lockscreens??
I upgraded as soon as the GM was made..."public." I'm enjoying playing around with these changes while I wait for my 5.

Any tweaks won't work if you upgrade to ios6.
You would have to wait until an exploit is available.
Use apt back up to help save your tweaks fir re download.

What's the link between updating iOS device I own and a device I get later whenever the shipping situation allows. What others mentioned with jailbreak would be a valid constraint for an upgrade; but the only one. In my case I upgraded all devices to iOS6 (GM). And still waiting do iP5. Two not very dependent situations.

I'll update my iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4 to iOS 6 ASAP. Won't bother updating 1st gen iPad as I'm getting rid of it pretty much as soon as my shiny new iPad 3 arrives.
I'm debating on whether or not to update my 4S to ios 6. I'm definitely updating my iPad 2 to ios6. The reason I'm debating on holding off on updating my 4S is because of Apple Maps. I've been reading about how it doesn't have public transit yet, but Google Maps does. I'm hoping that if I update the 4S, there will be a Google Maps app (Google already put in a youtube app, so hopefully they'll do that with Google Maps too), or I can just as easily make the maps.google.com website and save it on my home screen, and just hope that it works the same way as the built in Google Maps app did.
Already on IOS6 GM. Tested betas on my test phones and I have been please with it so far.
I have cydia and opennotifier on my iphone 4 with iOS 5. If I upgrade, I'll lose that and not really gain anything. I'm waiting for the new one.

If ios6 doesn't bring anything new for you then fine.
Security updates.
Privacy updates.
Safari standards compliance/performance updates.
Ah that's right, kids these days don't care about privacy anyway.
